TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Each bar is individually custom made for you, using deliciously smooth, high quality finest Belgian chocolate. I hand temper and mould the chocolate in my 5* rated kitchen, before lovingly packaging and labelling.
All ingredients and allergens are listed on the individual item’s details, as well as on the packaging of the item. Because of the way the chocolate/treats are prepared, it is NOT possible to guarantee that the products will be free from other allergens.

Placing an order
By placing an order with The Heartwarming Chocolate Company, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. I reserve the right to update and vary the terms and conditions, without notice, so always check here for the latest version.
Please email or pm on Facebook to order. Due to the amount of preparation, cleaning and paperwork time involved in a chocolate making session, I have a minimum order amount of £10.00 (not including p&p charges) during the quieter seasons of Jan, May, June, July, Aug.
Payment is required at the time of ordering - via bank transfer. Orders are not confirmed and written in my order book until the full amount has been transferred. Please allow a minimum of 10 days – from payment to dispatch, although I always aim to make them sooner where possible.
I make every effort to photograph the items accurately and to describe the products in detail. Due to different computer monitor settings, some colours may appear slightly different to the actual colour. All products are sold as singles, unless stated in the description, and any multiple products in a photo are being used for illustrative purposes only. The appearance of the items may vary slightly, as they are all decorated by hand but they’ll be just as yummy!!

Please store your goods in a cool dry place away from bright lights, strong odours and heat. Please do not store your chocolate in a cold place, such as a fridge, as a rapid change in temperature may cause your chocolate to dis-colour and could even alter the taste.
Orders can be collected, by arrangement, from Whitstable, Kent (behind Tesco Superstore). Delivery can be arranged to Whitstable or Herne Bay, Kent for orders of £10.00+.
Unfortunately, I am not posting made up chocolate orders at the moment (only kits) - please check my Facebook group for further updates on this.
Posted chocolate will be sent via Royal Mail - please ask for a quote. I do not take responsibility for incorrect postal addresses given by you, or for an item not being signed for or picked up from your local mail centre in time or if the goods become unsuitable, as a result of non-delivery. If your order is returned to me, you will need to put in and pay for a new order. Once with Royal Mail I cannot be held responsible for your order, for any damage or delays. However, in the unlikely event that your parcel is not delivered, I will follow Royal Mail's terms and conditions to put in a claim for you.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of the chocolate products, I am unable to accept returns or exchanges. Please contact me, within 72 hours of receiving your order, if you are not entirely happy with your purchase. Please include photographs if applicable.
Cancellations can be made up to 12 hours after placing your order – by emailing, or messaging me on Facebook. After this time, your payment will not be refunded.
The details sent for personalised items are your responsibility. Any error you make with a name or message etc., will not be refundable. If you realise you have made a mistake, message me asap so that I can amend the order, if it hasn’t already been made. Personalised items cannot contain any copyright material or content which is abusive, racist or threatening.
Cancellation by The Heartwarming Chocolate Company
I reserve the right to cancel your order if:
a) I have insufficient stock to be able to create the product you have ordered. In this case, I will contact you to advise of an availability date or to offer you a substitute.
b) there has been a pricing or product description error.
c) failure to authorise payment occurs.
d) the order is unable to be made due to illness in the household.
If I do have to cancel your order I will notify you by email and will issue a full refund. You will not receive compensation for any disappointment suffered.
